Brothers and Best Friends

broswanted.jpg

I turned this into Stampin’ UP! as well this summer. Just a little 6 x 6 page I made of my boys using the “Wanted” set. Don’t think it turned out to shabby for a girl who doesn’t scrap much.

Have a super weekend!

OK, run run run… Al isn’t feeling well so I am doing double time. Work all day then home to work some more. I made sure though that my blog got a few minutes of attention today though. For the next few posts I will be sharing some cards and scrap book pages that I made this summer and submitted to Stampin’ UP!. Hope you have fun looking. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment. The colors on this one are brighter in real life, sorry the picture is so dull.

Oh MY Gosh I can’t believe my last post was on the 6th. Where has this month gone? Well I have started a new full time job, gone on vacation to my cousins wedding and well just trying to get the hang of everything. Sorry I have been gone so long! I will really try to be better, please bare with me.

Quick card I made for my old manager to say thanks. Just used the “rock and roll” technique then used a Versa marker to high light the flower and embossed with Gold EP.

I have my card class tomorrow night so I gotta run and get samples done for that. Have a super weekend!!

Big Hugs!!!

A card for my cousin…

lancewedding.jpg

My cousin is getting married a week from Saturday and I needed to get a card made up for that, so here it is. They aren’t having a traditional church wedding, instead they are getting married in a backyard. The reception will be in a park, so I thought I would just make a card using their wedding colors (Chocolate Chip and Coral Cameo) and a more fall garden theme. I inked up the flower in Versa Mark first then Rock and Rolled the flower stamp in Coral Cameo Craft ink. Stamped that on shimmery white card stock then stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs with Green Galore craft ink. I then used clear EP to emboss those images and once dried brayered chocolate chip over the whole card. One corner is a little lighter then the other as you can see. I then stamped and embossed with gold EP the sentiment. Added some organdy ribbon, gold & Groovy Gauva card stock and voila! A non traditional wedding card.

Have a super weekend!!! Hope to be back very soon!
